Check with me first if any of these apply
- Pregnancy
- Epilepsy or seizures
- A heart condition or uncontrolled blood pressure
- Abdominal or chest surgery in the last three months
- A psychotic, bipolar or dissociative condition
- Current thoughts of self-harm
- A recent trauma or crisis you're still in the middle of
Before any session I ask one question about this, and nothing more detailed. If one applies, tell me, and we talk it through before you join.
In every session
- You can say no to anything. If something feels uncomfortable, say so and we find another way.
- You can stop at any time. If it gets too intense, go back to a gentle breath, or to normal breathing through the nose.
- Tingling in the hands and feet is common, and it passes after the session.
- Get up slowly afterwards. You may feel a little light-headed.
- Online, cameras stay on. I watch every person the whole time, which is how I adapt and how I notice if someone needs me.
I guide, you hold the brake. The whole time.
What this is not
This is not medical or psychological treatment, and not a replacement for it. If you are in a crisis, please contact a doctor. In Portugal, SNS 24 is 808 24 24 24; in an emergency, call 112.
