I was sick as a kid. When I was ten I was given a very intense medicine, and it did a lot of damage to my body. I didn't know how much at the time. As I got older it got worse, and it ended in surgeries.
I felt bad and didn't know why. I thought I could fix it from the outside, so I trained hard in the gym for years. It didn't help. Then I looked for an answer everywhere: doctors, medicine, physiotherapy, then yoga and meditation. More than ten years of searching.
What finally reached it was in the body. I found Generative Breathwork, and it settled things nothing else had touched. So I asked to learn to guide it.

How I trained
I started one to one with Andrew Bishop, who helped shape the modern form of Generative Breathwork, around five years ago. I asked almost at once to learn to guide, kept working with him, and then trained in two small-group masterclasses over several months. I have guided people since the beginning.
I have more than ten years of practice behind this: Zen with a teacher, qigong, yoga, which I have also taught, and meditation; Samkhya; Taoism; Trika, Kashmir Shaivism, with Baba Bhavani Shankar; and embodiment work with Judith Blackstone, without certification there.
I use all of it, together with Generative Breathwork, to help you get the results you want.
What I believe
You're at your best when you're at your calmest. Some people think you need stress to stay sharp. I don't. There will always be some stress in a living body, but a lot of it is unnecessary.
How I work
It's your own exploration. I'm there to guide and to nudge: I watch how your body responds and change what we do because of it. Nothing is pushed, and you can say no to anything.
Breathcraft and Generative Breathwork
Breathcraft is my practice. Generative Breathwork is the style of breathwork I trained in, and one of its main tools.
Where. A private studio in Bairro Alto, Lisbon, and online wherever you are.
Questions
Are you certified?
I learned from a teacher. Most breathwork certifications take a few days or weeks. This was months of one-to-one and small-group training, in depth.
Do you work in Portuguese?
Yes. Sessions run in English or Portuguese.
Start with a call. If it fits, we start.
